My job is to document your beautiful family naturally and authentically. I won’t be posing your baby in a fluffy bucket or arranging you in height order for a family portrait. There will be no cheese. That said if I spy a pocket of light or a great spot for a photo I will shepherd you that way…
My shoots are relaxed and fun, with time for snack breaks, toilet stops and nose wipes.

We’re absolutely delighted with our newborn photos! Somehow she managed to capture some moments of peace and tranquility among the chaos of life with a newborn! Charlotte made us all feel at ease and it was so laidback and relaxed that we almost didn’t realise the shoot had begun. The photos are beautiful and we’ll treasure them forever.

How does it feel to have a family or newborn shoot with me?
Relaxed, easy and fun!
The very nature of documentary family and newborn photography means that there are no forced poses – we let everything unfold naturally. My job is to capture the real moments, real smiles ( and sometimes tears!) of your family. Genuine and beautiful photographs for you to treasure for years to come.
Newborn shoots are done in the comfort of your own home. Everything is to hand and we can really take our time and let baby lead. Cuddles, feeds, nappy changes, baths and snoozes; I’ll capture it all.
Family shoots can be done at home or a local outdoor space or both! Depending on the age and number in your family we can plan an activity to keep the kids busy. Whether that’s making pizza for lunch, arts and crafts or taking a toddler out for a stomp in the woods. Anything goes.

Charlotte has a unique, artistic style that grabbed us from the start but what was an additional delight was the pleasure she is to work with: so friendly and approachable and with a lovely calm and professional manner. She really ‘got us’ . Our family shoot was full of laughter and joy and Charlotte has done a wonderful job in preserving those memories through photographs that we will treasure forever.
