I recently photographed author, designer, artist, and publisher David Salariya against the inpspiring industrial backdrop of Coal Drops Yard in King’s Cross. The location’s blend of Victorian architecture and modern design created the perfect setting for a collection of contemporary yet timeless portraits. We found a wonderful pocket of light near some huge pot plants that made for a striking portrait of David.

The shoot was wonderfully relaxed with David telling me all about his extensive career in publishing. He’s been both an author and a publisher so his insights were very interesting.
