On a crisp morning I headed into Richmond, London, for an author headshot. I had the privilege of stepping into the charming home of debut children’s author Nat Harrison. Her children’s book, “The Girl Who Raced the World” follows the whimsical journey of a young girl discovering different cultures across the globe.
Nat’s writing nook, at the top of the house is jam packed with books, a vintage globe and a 1920’s cruise ship chair! We were blessed with sunlight streaming in the windows.
During our photoshoot, we captured portraits of Nat around her house – choosing different backdrops to give Nat lots of choice when choosing photos for different scenarios on her author journey.
The author’s own travels have heavily influenced her debut book, bringing authenticity to each destination in the book. The book is out in September 2025 and I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy!
“The Girl Who Raced the World” is published by Piccadilly Press and promises to inspire a new generation of young explorers.
