For this Author Headshot shoot it was a drizzly morning but this didn’t matter as we found plenty of shelter in and around Coal Drops Yard in London. The author and writer in front of my lens was Daisy Christodoulou, one of Britain’s most influential voices in education. As Director of Education at No More Marking and author of several groundbreaking books on education, Daisy brings a wealth of expertise to her field.
Daisy, like many authors I work with, initially expressed some nervousness about being in front of the camera. But as we chatted about her work and books, her natural warmth began to shine through. A coffee and a cake also helped to ease us into the session. Chatting, coffee and cake are always a great start to a shoot!
Daisy’s latest work “I Can’t Stop Thinking about VAR” showcases her versatility as an author. During our shoot, we made sure to capture this multifaceted aspect of her work, creating images that would resonate with both educational professionals and sports enthusiasts. We chose locations that gave us shelter from the rain and a variety of backdrops to suit Daisy’s needs.
