This dramatic Author Headshot was taken to promote Zoe Suggs and Amy McCulloch’s upcoming Trilogy The Magpie Society. Inspired by Broadstairs we shot in January which meant we were more likely to experience bad weather! I don’t usually get asked to shoot outdoor, on a beach in the middle of Winter but on this occasion it was perfect for this portrait. Moody skies were exactly what we wanted. The sea and sky and poses creating an atmosphere which reflects the dark and mysterious theme of their book.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Major shout outs to the two of them for standing around in the cold and rain, as well as the MUA! Challenging conditions to say the least<\/p>\n
